The language trip to Malta was a great experience for all of us.
Students from 4EHW and 4DHW travelled together and spent an exciting week on the island.
On Monday, we had a very pleasant and relaxed flight to Malta and then got transferred to our accommodation “Sprachcaffe” in Pembroke.
On Tuesday, we had our first language course – in total, we attended the course four times during the week. We really enjoyed it as our teachers were very friendly and made the lessons interesting and enjoyable. It was a great opportunity to improve our English skills while being surrounded by the language every day.
On Tuesday afternoon, we took a boat tour around the natural harbours, which was a great way to see the coastline. Another interesting activity was the guided tour through Valletta, which we did on Wednesday. Our guide was very friendly and showed us many different parts of the city. We were especially impressed by the charming streets, the unique architecture, and the small shops that could be found throughout the city.
A highlight of the entire trip was our visit to the Blue Lagoon. The water was incredibly clear, and you could see all the way to the bottom. The bright turquoise colour of the sea looked almost unreal and made the place feel very special. We spent time swimming, taking photos and enjoying the stunning scenery around us. The beaches and swimming spots there were much more beautiful than those on the main island, which is why the Blue Lagoon was definitely the most memorable part of the trip.
One of the best things about the trip was getting to know the students from the other class better. We got along very well and spent a lot of time together, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, the trip to Malta was an unforgettable experience. It allowed us to improve our English, discover a beautiful country, spend time with friends and create memories that will stay with us for a long time. (Valerie Wolke 4EHW, Jakob Wex 4DHW)
